Pellegrino Capossela, 77, died on Tuesday, Aug 14, 2012. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield,on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St.Lucy's Church, Newark, N.J. The burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Nino was born in Avellino, Italy, served in the Italian Army and came to the United States in 1965. He worked as a painter for 20 years for St. Michael's Medical Center and prior to that he worked for The Colonnades, both in Newark. Nino is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Gerardina (Ricci) Capossela; loving daughter, Phyllis Romano and her husband, Robert; cherished grandchildren, Alexis and Michael; sister, Alba Ricci; brothers, Umberto and Antonio Capossela and sister-in-law, Maria Ricci, and his beloved dog, "Lucky." He was predeceased by his parents, Filomena and Luigi Capossela.
