Pete Brown, 66, of Victoria, passed away March 29, 2015. He was born June 26, 1948 in Victoria to the late Sebastian and Nieves De La Garza Brown.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Alena Brown; son, Gabriel Garcia; sisters, Pauline Hernandez, Connie Villarreal, Margaret Almaraz, Manuela Brown and Nieves Guzman; brothers, Sebastian Brown, Jr., Pat Brown, Sr. and Julio Brown; 3 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends that loved him for his knowledge, good advice, great, strong willed personality and great sense of humor. "Uncle" Pete will be dearly missed, but we all know he is at peace now. May we all see you again in the beautiful realms of heaven…"Quite possibly, but not necessarily so!"
Pete was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ramona Blanco and brother, Lawrence Brown.
Visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home from 10 am to 1:30 pm, Wednesday, April 1, 2015, Rosary to follow at 1:30 pm and the Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Joshua Brown, Jerry Villarreal, Jr., Patrick Brown, John Brown, Jacob Gonzales and John Emelio Brown.
