North Andover, MA – Peter M. Weisman, 59, of North Andover passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2017.
He was the cherished son of the late Irving and Harriet (Weinstein) Weisman and was raised and educated in Marblehead, MA. Peter was a graduate of Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA and Boston University. Following in his beloved father's footsteps, Peter began a career in the Packaging Industry during the early 1980's and was the owner of Mark Packaging and the Packaging Connection in Haverhill and Lawrence.
Peter was a lifelong sports fan and followed the Boston sports teams throughout his life. In later years, he became the proud supporter of the North Andover High School, WPI Football, and Columbia University Baseball programs. Some of Peter's greatest memories were made as a coach in the North Andover Youth Sports programs.
Having grown up in Marblehead, Peter's sense of history, adventure and love of the ocean were instilled in him at an early age. Although Peter called North Andover home, he was forever a "header" at heart. The times he spent on the family boat in Marblehead harbor with his beloved wife, children, and extended family will be forever remembered by many but especially by his 50/50 cohorts.
Peter is survived by his wife, Susan (Dzedulonis) Weisman; and his two sons, Matthew Weisman and his fiancé Kathy Smith, and Michael Weisman.
In addition, he leaves behind, his aunt and uncle Bernie and Eileen Weinstein, cousins Leslie Rooks Sack, Bette Lester, Joel Rooks, Jeffrey Weinstein, and Michelle Weinstein; mother-in-law Tina Dzedulonis, sister and brother-in-law Nancy and David Lane and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 27, at 10:00AM at Temple Emanu-El in Marblehead, MA. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover, MA. Visitation hours will be held on Friday, January 27, from 3-5pm and Saturday January 28, from 5-7pm at the family residence. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Peter's memory may be made to either the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence; 136 Water St, Lawrence MA 01841 or the Michael J Fox Foundation; PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014.

I cannot begin to tell you how sorry we all are. Pete was one of the all time nicest men I've met in my life. He treated me like I was an old friend from the neighborhood. Always gracious. Always funny. Always interested in my doings. I strive to be as good a man as him every day. You Will always be a part of our fondest memories as Columbia baseball family. Respectfully, Walter, Sherri, Robb, and Sarah Paller

I worked for Peter for many years at Mark Packaging and Interstate Container.
Peter was by far the best person I ever worked for, he had a beautiful soul.
He will be missed dearly.
