P.J. and I went to grade school growing up and I can say, with all honesty, that the kid had the warmest heart and the biggest smile. No matter the circumstance, I always knew PJ to be a person of sincere character with the utmost respect for others.
Life is not fair but I know PJ spent his days here on Earth to the fullest.
Until we meet again my friend, Rest In Peace.

It was just a couple days ago my dad and I were talking about childhood friends. He asked me about you and I had to admit I wasn't sure how you were doing. I decided to find out today, but it seems I'm just a little too late.
I'm so glad to see that you have not changed a bit since grade school. Obviously you are the same kind, fun loving moral compass you always have been.
I'm so sorry PJ. Life seems so unfair when it works this way, taking our best and brightest. I haven't seen you and so long and now I'd give anything just to talk to you again. Just to play on that playground a couple more times.
I love you PJ. I hate that I had to find you this way. You touched my life and changed me for the better. Farewell.

Phillip and I worked together at Wembly International. He was in the Accounting Department. He was very intelligent and enjoyed imparting his wisdom. He, often, spoke of his family and friends. His eyes lit up when he spoke of things that he was passionate about. His fervor and ardor were infectious. You, all, are residing in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Phillip.

My sorrow for all of those who love PJ is deep and wide. I am thankful I had a chance to share a huge PJ hug last Sunday. That goes right to the top of my list of sweet memories. He sang in choir as a youth when it was not "cool" and brought joy to all of us. His time in praise team was special and I see him with the special guitar strap his mom made that always stretched down causing him to make numerous adjustments. When we mentioned maybe using another strap he said "I can't, my mom made this one" and smiled his big smile.
His spirit is with us because it is so large.
Thank you PJ for the precious years we shared with you. Your earthly book is complete but I know the first chapter of your heavenly book has begun and word is out that it is "riveting."

I don't make posts about people who have passed often, but here goes one. A man I briefly knew in high school is gone. Pj Sheffield. I have never heard one person talk bad about him, and having him in my life was a gift.
This just shows, life can be gone in a second. Don't take ANYONE for granted.
You will be missed brother, but I know you are in a better place.

I lost my brother, Pj Sheffield, on Tuesday night. There is nothing that I can say about him that everyone doesn't already know. He was one of the nicest, goofiest, and smartest people that I've met. His outward focus, openness, and love of the arts will be his legacy. Very few people can do what he did in his 22 years that he was given--touching so many people and building them up. No one has a negative view of PJ and I was his biggest critic. He never wanted to stay in the same place. He would drift in and out, seeing what other people were doing and showing them his talent and positivity, making impressions in 5 minutes that could last a lifetime. But in his drifting, no matter how far he went or how long; he always came home, but he has left for his final journey. If his life's goal could be shortened to one phrase, it would be "to help people" and everyone whom he has met can agree that he accomplished this goal a thousand times over. I'll always miss you.

I want to honor the memory of one of my best friends. Four months were more than enough to get to know him and be blessed by his possitiveness, noble heart, wise and timely words and all-day long goofiness. He was Gods tool in moment of need and I will be forever grateful for the days we got to share. You will be missed, Amigo.

It is a shock and sad when someone so young makes the transition however, I find it truly beautiful that he passed away in his sleep. Having an smooth and easy transition from human form to spirit is all I wish for all of us! As those who knew him (I'm grateful I had the opportunity) - we knew he truly was living life fully in a beautiful way. His spirit merely left the "human body". Maybe it was time. And because of who he was, his spirit will continue to WOW the universe. Magic Passion Love & Pj Sheffield

An homage...
I was shocked to learn that a great spirit and friend of mine, Pj Sheffield passed away in his sleep recently. He was so young, in his early 20s, and the the type of person whose calming, kind and peaceful presence always brought a smile to your face. We only spent a short time knowing each other PJ, but our short interactions always left a heartfelt impression on me. I hope that your spirit guides you to another happy place where you can continue to offer love and kindness to those around you, and thank you for doing that to everyone you met here in your time on Earth. Blessings brother.

Pj Sheffield You were one of the happiest, kindest, most passionate of people I've ever known anywhere ever. You never once let life get you down or complained about trivial stuff people think about all the time. You were a lifegift, an earthstar, and I am so privileged to have known you. I wouldn't write this on Facebook except I don't want to wait until a ceremony to say anything, and I'm a better writer than a speaker any day.
I know you're playing Beatles on the other side. We'll jam soon.

Heaven has gained another good one. Pj Sheffield it was an honor to know you, to be mentored by you, and to work alongside you. Thank you for your goofiness, positivity, wisdom, and for constantly exemplifying how to be a joyous leader and friend. Although we haven't been as close in recent years, I know without a shadow of a doubt that the Camp Cherokee family, the Allatoona family and this entire community will mourn the loss of such a special individual. You are so incredibly
loved and cherished.

I've been trying to write this post for a few hours now but it's been difficult to put my thoughts into words, reminiscing and trying to accept that you're gone. I say goodbye to you my very good friend. You left the world leaving such a permanent mark, bringing people together and inspiring everyone in your wake with the true unconditional love you had to offer the world. Rest in peace Pj Sheffield, for you are one individual I've had the most absolute pleasure of knowing. My thoughts go out to your family and friends that also wear the weight of the news. The world lost someone truely great today.

Today I say goodbye to one of my true friends. Pj Sheffield was like a brother to me. We lived together, ate together, and experienced life together. I can't put into words how much of a dramatically positive impact he had on my life. He was a friend who was there to support you when times were tough, to give you sound advice when you lost your way, and to inspire you to become the best person you could be. Though he is no longer with us, the legacy he left will carry on in the lives of those who he touched. May you rest peacefully my friend, my brother.
