Phillip WARNS Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 10, 2016.

A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again

Aunt Carolyn and Family, we are so sorry for your loss. We have such delightful memories (we still remember when we were working on Cousin Mark's house in Montana, and Uncle Phil quietly snuck up behind Mom/Aunt Ruth on the roof (where we were all shingling) and nailed her pant's leg down. The look on both their faces once she discovered she couldn't move was just priceless!). We hope they are a comfort to you at this time, and that the love of God, family and friends surrounds and upholds you.

Carolyn, Debbie, Dean, Duane and all the family, You are all so in my heart and prayers. I am rejoicing with you that Phil is with Jesus, and we will all be together again. And that same Jesus will supply your strength, wisdom, love and comfort as you negotiate this new reality. Carolyn, what a beautiful family God blessed you and Phil with. Much love, Ruth Smith (San Luis Obispo CA)

Carolyn and family... I am saddened for the loss in the physical death of Phil, your husband, father, grandfather and my brother. Phil and I were "childhood buddies," therefore I have many "treasured heart memories." In your sadness, along with me, hold close to your heart the goodness of the heart memories of your relationship with him. These heart memories belong to you and no one... not even death can take them from you. Trusting in God's love for you and your family, I am praying for the Holy Spirit to comfort and nurture you as you process the physical loss of Phil. (Ann (Warns) Moe, Pacifica, CA)
