Phillip Lee Browning, Sr., 82, of Old Ribolt Road, Tollesboro died Monday, September 26, 2011 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Mr. Browning was born in Mason County, Kentucky on July 31, 1929 the son of the late Lovell and Emma Campbell Browning. Until his retirement, Mr. Browning owned and operated the Browning Trucking Company. He is survived by his wife, Janet McDowell Browning; five sons, Phillip Lee Browning, Jr. (Josie) of Maysville; Jimmy Dale Browning (Joyce) of Florence; Mike Browning (Leslie) of Lexington; Tony Browning (Kacie) of Southgate and Robert Browning of Cincinnati, Ohio; two daughters, Mary Ann...
Phillip Lee Browning, Sr., 82, of Old Ribolt Road, Tollesboro died Monday, September 26, 2011 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Mr. Browning was born in Mason County, Kentucky on July 31, 1929 the son of the late Lovell and Emma Campbell Browning. Until his retirement, Mr. Browning owned and operated the Browning Trucking Company. He is survived by his wife, Janet McDowell Browning; five sons, Phillip Lee Browning, Jr. (Josie) of Maysville; Jimmy Dale Browning (Joyce) of Florence; Mike Browning (Leslie) of Lexington; Tony Browning (Kacie) of Southgate and Robert Browning of Cincinnati, Ohio; two daughters, Mary Ann Pence and Linda Wallingford and three stepchildren, Cindy Dale (Allan) of May's Lick; Mike Dotson (Cecilia) of Mt. Olivet and Allen Dotson (Hope) of Brooksville. He is also survived by several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, three special nephews, Ed Dearing, Marvin Dearing and Dennis Dearing and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Azro Browning and one sister, Thelma Dearing. Funeral services for Phillip Browning will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 29, 2011. Burial will be in the Shannon Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056.
