Of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the age of 96, under the compassionate care of the staff at Greenleaf Care Home. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, H.A. Hadley; sister, Catherine Van Maele; brothers, Bob Scott, Tom Scott and Jim Scott as well as her parents. She will be remembered by her God-Children, Rita Craft and Paul Kime; dear friends, Shelia Turner and Brian Craft; sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Ailene Scott; eight nieces and nephews, Larry Scott, Tom Scott, Brian Scott, Kitty Braun, Terry Scott, Danny Scott, Diane Christou and David Van Maele. Phyllis was born in Jackson on March 15, 1920 to Thomas and Hazel (Hayward) Scott. She is a graduate of Jackson High and retired after 33 years of service as an Executive Secretary at Consumers Energy. She touched the hearts and lives of many and will be greatly missed. According to her wishes cremation has been selected and there will be no services at this time. Those who wish may make a contribution in her memory to Greenleaf Care Home (5585 Brooklyn Road Jackson, 49201)
