August 31, 1937 - November 3, 2013

COLLINS, Phyllis Jane, 76, a resident of Lowndesboro, AL, and formerly of Charlotte, MI passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Collins, and her father Alton Hodgman, brother, Roger Hodgman.

She is survived by four daughters, Julie (Shawn) Symons, Strasburg, CO, Janine (Greg) Dicus, Prattville, AL, Joanie (Gerald) Cade, Harpersville, AL, Janey Merchant, Lowndesboro, AL; one son, Maynard (Sue) Collins, Charlotte, MI; her mother, Kathryn Hodgman, Lowndesboro, AL; sister, Diane (Paul) Piepkow, Olivet, MI; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Greg Dicus, Gerald Cade, Chris Cook, Gerry Cade, Jerry Smith and Ben Snyder.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Ridout's Prattville Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
