Obituary

Preston Michael Lane, age 11, earned his angel's wings on September 10, 2012. Preston (lovingly called Boo and Preddon) was born on May 29, 2001, in Champaign, Illinois, and most recently attended Jefferson City Middle School in Jefferson City, Tennessee. He was a bright and friendly sixth grader. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, swimming, anything outdoors, roller coasters, the Smoky Mountains, and playing video games with his brothers Collin and Joshua. Preston enjoyed being a part of the youth group at Jefferson City Christian Church and recently built a sailboat. He dreamed of sailing around the world. His little sister Jazzy (6)...

His little sister Jazzy (6) joins him on his journey. Brothers Joshua and Collin stay with their worldly family. Parents: Danielle Lane of Tennessee, and Chad and Lynette Lane of Alabama. Grandparents: Sam and Susan Lane, and Beverly Evard. Aunts and uncles: Carrie and Josh Pritchett, Jason and Faith Lane, Derek Carson, Jay and Missy Davidson, Sheila and Mark Wright. Cousins: Anden, Brynlee, Charity, Hope, Dylan, Caleb, Martika, and Prometheus. Special family members: Terry, Bryan, Jackie, Alex and Nick Hackett; Nicole, Jamie and Donald Story; and Jim Bob and Harley Plew. He sends a big smile and wave to his other family members and friends, especially those from school, church and his neighborhoods. The family will receive friends on Thursday September 20th from 4-7 PM at Green Acres Baptist Church, 10144 Old Rutledge Pike, Mascot, with the memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. John Emmert officiating. The interment will be announced later, and will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery in West Terre Haute, Indiana. Condolences may be offered at www.mccartyevergreen.com


Jasmine Jewel-Ann Lane, age 6, earned her angel's wings on September 10, 2012. Jazzy (also called Jewels, Princess and Mija) was born on November 8, 2005, in Terre Haute, Indiana, and most recently attended Jefferson City Elementary School in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She was a beautiful, sweet first grader. She loved playing with her older brothers (especially Collin who was extra patient with her girl games), music, singing, drawing, swimming, soccer, camping and fishing. Her favorite color was purple, and she loved dressing up with fancy hair and painted toenails. Her big brother, Preston (11), joins her on her journey. Brothers Joshua and Collin stay with their worldly family. Parents: Danielle Lane of Tennessee, and Chad and Lynette Lane of Alabama. Grandparents: Sam and Susan Lane, and Beverly Evard.
