September 22, 2010 Raymond B. Dillow Raymond B. Dillow, age 91 of Jonesborough passed away Tuesday September 21, 2010 at his home. Raymond was born January 26, 1919 in Sullivan County to Samuel and Susie Mae Dillow and had resided in Jonesborough for the past 40 years. He was a Veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII. Raymond retired from Eastman Kodak Company after 44 ½ years of service. He was a member of the VFW and Long Island Baptist Church. Raymond B. Dillow

Raymond B. Dillow, age 91 of Jonesborough passed away Tuesday September 21, 2010 at his home.

Raymond was born January 26, 1919 in Sullivan County to Samuel and Susie Mae Dillow and had resided in Jonesborough for the past 40 years. He was a Veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII. Raymond retired from Eastman Kodak Company after 44 ½ years of service. He was a member of the VFW and Long Island Baptist Church. He was known as one of the "best" billiards player in the Kingsport area. Like his forefathers he loved to farm and was a fox hunter.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Murray Dillow.

Surviving are sons, Larry Dillow, Kingsport and Garry Dillow, Atlanta GA., daughter, Joyce Ladd, SC. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brothers, Kenneth Dillow, Kingsport and Bill Dillow, FL.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, September 24, 2010 at 1:30 PM with Dr. Ron Davis officiating. Military honors conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post # 3 and TN Army National Guard in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends from Celebrate Recovery Church will serve as pallbearers.

A special thank you to Suzy Dorton his special caregiver whom he called his queen and Amber Anderson and Peggy Duncan.
