Richard B. "Dick" Wilson, 96, formerly of Berlin and Somerset, Pennsylvania, died April 15, 2014 in Louisville, Colorado.Born in Somerset on July 27, 1917, he is the son of the late Burdine and Wavie (Sidle) Wilson of Berlin. He is also preceded in death by his brother Dale and sisters Doris Jean and Vera. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Thelma Jean (Stahl) Wilson; sons: Kenneth Wilson and wife Nancy Commins of Louisville, CO; Carl Wilson of Denver, CO; Neil Wilson and wife Nan of Longmont, CO; grandson Alexander Commins Wilson of Lousiville, CO; and sister Violet Johanyak of Brooksville, FL. Richard B. "Dick" Wilson, 96, formerly of Berlin and Somerset, Pennsylvania, died April 15, 2014 in Louisville, Colorado.Born in Somerset on July 27, 1917, he is the son of the late Burdine and Wavie (Sidle) Wilson of Berlin. He is also preceded in death by his brother Dale and sisters Doris Jean and Vera. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Thelma Jean (Stahl) Wilson; sons: Kenneth Wilson and wife Nancy Commins of Louisville, CO; Carl Wilson of Denver, CO; Neil Wilson and wife Nan of Longmont, CO; grandson Alexander Commins Wilson of Lousiville, CO; and sister Violet Johanyak of Brooksville, FL. Dick served our nation in the Pacific Theater during World War II. During a long career as a master mechanic and machinist he made numerous friends. He retired from the Cooper Jarrett freight company in 1980. He was a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, and, in later years, the Masonic Lodge of West Middlesex, PA. Dick and wife Jean enjoyed a long retirement in Florida before moving to join their sons in Colorado last summer.
