BOSTON – Rosita (Shusterman) Lewin, 89 years, of Salem, formerly of Lynn. Entered into rest Friday morning, July 18, 2014 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late Kalman Lewin. Born in Havana, Cuba, dear daughter of the late Solomon and Malka Shusterman. Rosita had been employed at Marshall's in Swampscott for twenty years prior to her retirement last year. Mrs. Lewin had been a volunteer for many years at the North Shore Children's Hospital in Salem and was a member of the JRC in Swampscott. BOSTON – Rosita (Shusterman) Lewin, 89 years, of Salem, formerly of Lynn. Entered into rest Friday morning, July 18, 2014 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late Kalman Lewin. Born in Havana, Cuba, dear daughter of the late Solomon and Malka Shusterman.

Rosita had been employed at Marshall's in Swampscott for twenty years prior to her retirement last year. Mrs. Lewin had been a volunteer for many years at the North Shore Children's Hospital in Salem and was a member of the JRC in Swampscott. She was a resident of Lynn for many years, was a member of Congregation Anshai Sfard in Lynn, where she served as the financial secretary and as a member of its sisterhood.

She is survived by devoted three children, Judith Lewin-Callahan and her husband Philip of Lynn, Richard Lewin and his wife Brenda of Swampscott and Steven Lewin and his wife Barbara of Nashua, NH; cherished grandmother of Craig, Jamie, Debra, Jennifer and Michelle; adored great grandmother of Taylor, Cody and Sophia and dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was also the loving sister of the late of Hilda Gold.

Services at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, SALEM on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 12 Noon. Interment at Pride of Lynn Cemetery, Lynn. Memorial observance at the home of Richard and Brenda Lewin following the interment on Sunday until 7 PM, Monday 2-5 PM and 6-8 PM and on Tuesday 2-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be donated to the Chabad Lubavitch of the North Shore, 44 Burril Street, Swampscott, MA 01907.For online condolences, please visit www.stanetskyhymansonsalem.com
