RaeAnne Todd Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 16, 2017.

RaeAnne Todd, 74, of Bath passed away peacefully on June 15, 2017 with her family by her side. She fought a brave and courageous fight against cancer for 10 years. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on December 1, 1942 to Leonard and Henrietta VanOeveren. On March 1, 1968 she married the love of her life, Allen. They shared 49 special years together, and the bond they had gave each other the strength to continue each day. She loved spending time with family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. RaeAnne was a hairdresser for 45 years and she was a loyal fan of the MSU Spartans and the Detroit Tigers. She enjoyed participating in Relay For Life, watching birds especially hummingbirds, stamping and enjoying the blooms of the Iris, her favorite flower. RaeAnne is survived by her husband, Allen; son, David (Sherry) Todd; daughter, Margaret (Scott) Cox; grandchildren, Elisa (Cody) Eglon, Aaron Cox, Mitchell Cox; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leon (Nancy) VanOeveren, Rod (Bunny) VanOeveren; and a special aunt, Sheila McCue. The family will receive visitors on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington Street, DeWitt. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm with visitation one hour prior, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of RaeAnne may be made to Relay For Life, or Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.grdewitt.com
