Ralph Jesse Bailiff, Jr. age 48, of Weatherford, TX., passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at South Hampton Community Hospital in Dallas, TX. Ralph was born in Pikeville, KY. on January 5, 1962. He was a resident of Parker County for many years where he worked for JAMAK Fabrications. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Weatherford, TX. An avid mountain biker, Ralph was a member of the Dallas Off-Road Bicycle Association and the Fort Worth Mountain Bike Association. He devoted many volunteer hours to trail work in the Dallas and Fort Worth areas. He was the President of the Weatherford College Basketball Booster Club and a graduate of the Oklahoma Horseshoeing School. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paris and Elizabeth Stiltner and Clyde and Etta Bailiff.
Mr. Bailiff is survived by his daughters, Jessica Bailiff of Weatherford, TX. and Christian Hernandez (husband – Juan) of Benbrook, TX, parents, Kathleen Helton ( husband – Jessie) of Seymour and Ralph Bailiff, Sr. (wife- Ellie) of New Market,sister, Tammy Kinsler (husband- Gerald) of Morristown, brothers, Terrence Bailiff of New Market and Sgt. Duran Bailiff (wife – Mi Sook) of Killeen, TX. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 28, 2010, in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jack Hitch will officiate. Family and friends will gather on Saturday one hour prior to the services at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Hamblen Memory Gardens, following the services.
