Ralph A. Calise, 80, passed away December 4, 2012 in Florida where he had lived the last 17 years, previously residing in RI.

He was the son of the late Alexander and Marietta (Valfredo) Calise. He had been the loving husband of Dorothy (Irving) Calise for 36 years; father of Gary and Alex Calise, Tina Lombari and husband Mark, Lincoln Davis and wife Donna, Richard White and Carol Accioli and the late Dennis and Jacqueline Accioli; brother of Natalie AngeloSanto and husband Carmino; brother-in-law of Kathryn Mattera, William Mattera and Isabelle McGurn; grandfather of 15; greatgrandfather of 2 and many nieces and nephews.

He was a retired Navy Veteran and past Dept. Commander of the Disabled American Veterans. He retired from the State of RI as a power plant engineer. Ralph was a loving husband, wonderful father and a generous person who will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held Monday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton Street, Providence, followed by a graveside burial with Military Honors in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Meeting Street School, 1000 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02905. www.pontarellimarinofunerals.com.
