Ralph was such a great neighbor and a wonderful part of my childhood. He never failed to make me feel special and important. The last time I saw him at my dad's funeral it was the same. He gave me a big hug and reminded me of the letter I wrote him when I was about 10 and he had the chicken pox. What a great human being he was! He will be missed.

Sending prayers and condolences to the entire Denton family. Ralph Denton touched so many lives, and his memory will live on in all the hearts that knew him. I had the privilege and honor of working in his office in the late 1970's. He was a wonderful, caring man, and an amazing asset to the field of law. Boulder City will never be the same without him! God Bless You All.

Ralph Denton was one of the most professional and capable attorneys I ever had the pleasure of working with. But, more than that, Mr. Denton was an extraordinarily kind and gracious man. We had a couple of cases against each other. Mr. Denton was much more experienced and knowledgeable than me, yet he treated me with the utmost respect, courtesy and civility. I always thought that he set the standard for the best of our profession. The legal community lost one of its finest and the world lost a wonderful man. My best to his family.

I loved Ralph as much as anyone I ever met. To me he was a father, a friend, a political conspirator and one of the funniest men around. Ultimately, political power, prestige and wealth meant nothing to him. His entire daevotion was to his family--and everyone he knew felt part of his family. Samuel Johnson wrote, "It matters not how a man dies, but how he lives." Ralph's enthusiasm for life never dimmed. He would have died young at any age. I was married in his home, ate many times at his table, spent endless hours greedly devouring his stories, turned to him in the darkest days of my life. I cannot count his kindnesses to me and my family. Words cannot express the character and decency of this one man. Truly, he laid down his life for others. I wish everyone could be as caring and kind as Ralph Denton. But that is not possible. Ralph will live in my heart until it stops beating. To Sara and your fine family, please accept my love in your time of sorrow. Remember with me all the light and laughter Ralph showered on us. Remember how, in the middle of a long story, Ralph would say, "Am I boring you?" Not a chance. I would give anything to hear one more story. Maybe, some day, I will.
