I served with Spur in Valcartier in 5RGC during the early 1970s.He was an excellent heavy equipment operator and a good friend.Karen and I wish his family well in their tme of sorrow.

Jim Harris
I served with Retired Sapper Ralph Newell in 3 Field Squadron Chilliwack in the mid '60s and was very lucky to have him as a neighbour in the Married Quarters.
His nickname was Spur, and he was a fine heavy equipment operator - RIP.
