In Memoriam

Ralph had many passions and was a patriotic soul. After the attacks of September 11, 2001, he was shaken like many in our country. However, unlike most, he had the opportunity to work on rebuilding the Freedom Tower in Lower Manhattan, and from 2006 to 2009, he proudly did so. Like many, a piece of his soul will always be in the building, and in this way, he will never truly be gone.

Ralph also loved his music, photography, nature, fishing, beach, and of course, his dogs. From the Rolling Stones to the Beatles to Billy Joel and to Elvis, he loved all the musical greats. And whether at a concert or at home, he loved to take pictures. Pictures of people, of places and of course of one of his greatest joys, his dogs, Sasha and Tasha. Dogs may not seem important, but to animal lovers, there is nothing more heart-warming than a dog's smile.

Ralph captured those images, but in the process he also captured many people's hearts and well wishes. We remember him today, and will remember him always. May he rest in peace and forever be in the comfort of God's strong hands and glorious light

"I want to convey my deepest sympathies on Ralph's unexpected and sudden passing, as the Lord has called him Home. Ralph's spirit will continue to be with..." Sherry Basdeo (Naperville, IL)
