Ralph Thomas Walker was born in Denver, Colorado on June 14, 1944 to Edward Lee and Evelyn Rose Walker. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1962. He attended Colorado State College, now, the University of Northern Colorado and graduated in 1966. He attended Nashotah House, a seminary of the Episcopal Church and graduated with a M. Div. in 1969. He received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Nashotah House in 1992. He was ordained Deacon on June 24, 1969, and Priest on December 26, 1969. Ralph Thomas Walker was born in Denver, Colorado on June 14, 1944 to Edward Lee and Evelyn Rose Walker. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1962. He attended Colorado State College, now, the University of Northern Colorado and graduated in 1966. He attended Nashotah House, a seminary of the Episcopal Church and graduated with a M. Div. in 1969. He received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Nashotah House in 1992.

He was ordained Deacon on June 24, 1969, and Priest on December 26, 1969. He served as Curate at St. Stephen Proto-Martyr Church in Aurora, Colorado from 1969 to 1970 when he became the Rector of St. Andrews Church in La Junta, Colorado. In 1975, he became the Rector of St. Michael and All Angels' Church, Denver, Colorado and served 37 years until his retirement in 2012.

In the Diocese of Colorado, he served on the Executive Council, the Department of Youth Council, the Standing Committee, the Commission on Ministry and Deputy to General Convention.

He has been a member of the Society of the Holy Cross since 1974 and has served as the Master of the Society for the Province of the Americas since 2005.

He was active in community life including, prior membership in Jaycees and Rotary clubs, has taught religious classes at the high school and college levels, and led summer youth camps for 25 years.

He was a member of the Board of Trustees of Nashotah House since 1976 and Secretary since 1984.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Claudia Sue Walker, daughter Mary (Brian) Loiseau, son Stephen (Janna) Walker, and 5 grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth, and Katherine Loiseau and Aidan and Tess Walker.

The Rev. Dr. Ralph Thomas, SSC, 68, died on November 19, 2012. A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Michael and All Angels' Church, 1400 S. University Blvd., Denver, 80210, on Tuesday, 11/27 at 10am. Burial will be at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, 80033 at 3pm. There will be a Vigil at 6:30pm on Monday evening, 11/26, also at the Church. Memorials may be given to St. Michael and All Angels' Church, 1400 S. University Blvd., Denver, CO 80210.
