A little message for you Marie:
As I sit in Heaven, and watch you every day, I try and let you know with signs, I never went away. I hear you when your laughing and watch you while I sleep, I even place my arms around you and calm you when you weep. I see you wish the days away begging to have me home, so I try to send you signs so you know you're not alone. Don't feel guilty that you have life, life that was denied to me, Heaven is truly beautiful just you wait and see. So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free, then I'll know with each breath you take, you'll be taking one for me

Dear Aunt Poki,
Thoughts of you and Uncle Ralph are close to my heart now and always. I am thinking of you during this time and sending my love. I am so thankful I was able to visit you and Ralph last December 2012. I have extremely fond memories of spending time with you both over the years. I will always remember Uncle Ralph's sincere and laid-back nature, his subtle humor, and his warm smile. He was one of the sweetest men I have ever known, and he always seemed genuinely glad to see me, and everyone else too. He will be dearly missed. All my love to you both. Always, Amanda

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Marie. There are many happy memories that come to mind when I think of Ralph. They start a little more than 50 years ago. There were trips taken by a few guys to places in Central Texas. Good clean fun by Army friends. Ralph's stories and laughter were a big part of this. Fifty two years ago Ralph arranged a blind date for me. Little did I know that she would become my wife. Thanks, Ralph, for letting God use you to bring my wife to me. Marie, it was so good to see you and Ralph at our 50th Anniversary in June. The visit was short, but there was still time for a Ralph story and a laugh. God's grace and peace to you. Love Paxton (Hutch) and Gloria Hutchison

Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting you, you have a special place in my heart. Anyone who served our country during the Vietnam war has my undying gratitude. A soldiers passing is not a soldier fallen but rather a soldier risen, for now your are at peace where there are no wars. Rest In peace dear friend and may God be with all those you left behind.

My heart pours out to David, Wendy, and Brad because I know just how hard it is to lose your dad. I also feel great sorrow for Marie because I watched my mom suffer as she moved forward without dad. It is and will be one of the hardest things you have to do. Uncle Ralph will well be remembered by me. His humor and his laugh will be in my heart and mind forever. The only comfort comes from knowing that God knows best and everything happens under his care. Love and prayers, Brenda (Jenkins) Netherton
