Ramona T. Bicandi Whittle, 53, of Payette, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Jan. 21, 2013 at her home in Payette. A viewing for family and friends will be from 5 -7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25th at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 26th at Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth. Condolences may be made to Ramona's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com.
Ramona was born to Tom and Lorraine Bicandi on June 16, 1959 in Boise, ID. Ramona graduated from Meridian High School in 1977. She worked at Mercy Medical Center in Nampa in 1979 then worked for Kit Manufacturing from 1985 – 1989. She then went to work for Ore-Ida until 2001. She was a flagger for Certified Personal Service until she became ill.
Ramona moved to Payette in 1989. She married Glenn Whittle in 1990; they had a daughter together, Erica L. Whittle. Ramona leaves behind her daughter, Erica Whittle; three brothers, Danny (Corena) Bicandi, Marty (Ginny) Bicandi, David (Cherie) Bicandi; one sister, Rachael (Chris) Simonsen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ramona enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and helping on her parents ranch, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
