Randy- It does not seem that long ago that you were youthful and lively and one of our youngest Big Red One Rangers. As one of the heart and soul of our Ranger unit in Vietnam, the men knew that you a team player where one would be for all and the rest would be for you. As you head out for this final mission in Ranger Heaven, please make way for your brothers. It was a privilege to be one of your fellow Tennesseans in Lai Khe and to consider you a friend through all the years. May you rest in Peace and may your family and friends be grateful for your service.

For those who knew of Randy's ready smile, quick wit, and compassion, we will see a lesser world with his absence. Randy King certainly lived by William Shakespeare's words delivered by Hamlet: "To thine own self be true." He was a man of his word and his actions. When asked to fight for our American future as a young man, he did answer that call fearlessly. To Randy's family, you are in our prayers and thoughts.
