Obituary

Randall Hunt King, Jr., 80 of El Dorado, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at Life Care Specialty hospital in Ruston ,Louisiana. He was born March 11, 1933, to Randall Hunt King, Sr. and Myrtle Beaird King in Shreveport Louisiana. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where he actively served at an usher. He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech. Randall was employed as a credit supervisor at Murphy Oil. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Korean War. Randall Hunt King, Jr., 80 of El Dorado, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at Life Care Specialty hospital in Ruston ,Louisiana. He was born March 11, 1933, to Randall Hunt King, Sr. and Myrtle Beaird King in Shreveport Louisiana.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where he actively served at an usher. He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech. Randall was employed as a credit supervisor at Murphy Oil. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Korean War.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Janis Johnson King of El Dorado; brother, John Calvin King; and two sisters, Ruth Hastings, Billie Jean Landry; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Monday, February 24, 2014 at Young's Chapel with Rev. Keith Dodson officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Bossier City, LA under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
