Randy Richard Alderson, 51, of Moline, died surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Trinity Pathway Hospice in Bettendorf. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church in Moline. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at The Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Randy was born April 20, 1958 in Dubuque, IA, the son of Richard and Mary (Seymour) Alderson. Randy was born April 20, 1958 in Dubuque, IA, the son of Richard and Mary (Seymour) Alderson. He was formerly married to Mary DeVine of Davenport. Randy was currently working for Interstate Brands Corporation where he had worked for over thirty years. He enjoyed camping, fishing and playing the guitar. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, but, his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Chase.

Those left to honor his memory include his children: Cari (Brandon) Underwood and Richard Alderson, both of Davenport, grandson, Chase Underwood, his mother, Mary Alderson, brother, Steve; sister, Sandy Lawrence, all of Moline, his wife of twenty five years, Mary, Davenport and nieces and nephews.

His father and a brother-in-law, Jeff Lawrence preceded him in death.
