Ray Floyd Rabon, 84, of Eden, Texas, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017.

He was born in Ballinger, Texas on Dec. 6, 1932 to his parents Jacob and Leola (Dillard) Rabon. He was a graduated of Eden High school and received an Associates of Applied Science from Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science.

He was married to Sue Spiser on Dec. 17, 1955. He had a career as an insurance agent for American National for 30 years. He also ranched during his spare time.

He is survived by his wife Sue Rabon; children David and his wife Lori Rabon, Trina and her husband James Spiers, both of San Angelo, Texas, and Cinda Rabon of Lake City, Colorado; grandchildren Jaret and his wife Kelly of San Antonio, Texas, Janae and her husband Justin Slaughter of Midland, Texas, Conner Rabon of Wall, Texas, Justin and wife Nikki Kearns of Houston, Texas and Alyssa Riddle of Fort Worth, Texas; great-grandchildren Quinn Rabon, Landree, Lawson and Jenson Slaughter, and Brooklyn Kearns.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Eden. A special word of appreciation is extended to Hospice of San Angelo, for the great care provided to our family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity.
