Obituary

Ray Allen Fouty, 82, passed away on June 30, 2013. He was born in Clover Gap, West Virginia and moved to Clay County in 1951. He owned a landscaping company for many years before retiring from Jacksonville Shipyard. Mr. Fouty was a member of Doctors Inlet Church of God and served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Lavonne in 2006. Survivors include Delton R. (Wanda) Fouty; daughter, Brenda (Michael) Vonhedt; brother, Leroy Fouty; sister, Ruby Fouty McLain; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, July 5, 2013 at Doctors Inlet Church of God with Rev. Steve Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park with military honors.
