Raymond Hall, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the age of 85 in Keller, Texas. Born in Houston, Texas, he was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather who coached high school basketball for 33 years. He was an avid camper and lover of nature. He is remembered by all who knew him as the eternal coach, a talented basketball player who built a career teaching younger generations the art of the game. He gave generously and encouraged his players to dream big and live large. He was adored as a father, then grandfather, and always as a friend.
He is survived by his daughters, Renea Cribbs and husband Clay and Terry Martinez; his grandchildren, Danielle Tworek and husband Tony, Chad Cribbs and wife Talina, Luke Cribbs and wife Kourtney, Gabrielle Richmond and husband Joey, and Cody Martinez; great grandchildren, Cambree, Tinslee, Calliee, Bailee, Rylee, Adam and Easton.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 17, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. The Graveside Service will then be at 11:30 a.m. at Brookside Memorial Park at 13401 East Texas Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
In lieu of flowers, Raymond has requested that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (https://www.cff.org/) in honor of his son, Darrell Hall, who preceded him in death in 1973.
