Dear Bailey Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Your son was an amazing man and it was because of you he turned out that way. I can only imagine how proud you were of him cause I know I was. Him and D.J. are one of few I call my friends. Ray always made me laugh every time I saw which was almost everyday. I always thought of Ray as a little brother. I will think of him everyday for the rest of my life and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I miss you Ray.

Ray Bailey smh...I enjoyed playing against this man back in high school when I attended Huguenot. We also played in the same all-star game our senior year. He was a real good, cool guy, always smiling, joking, and lauging. One of the easiest people to get along with. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family...such a tragic accident

I miss Ray. We will one day meet again. Watch over us. Dance with the angels. Love you Ray Ray.

October 20, 2011

I worked with DJ for quite a few years and that's how I first met Ray...I remember him always having a smile on his face and being a respectable young man. I can recall the parents always being pleasant and proud of their children. My deepest sympathy for this loss to the Bailey family, but just know that he's in a better place and watching down on you all. God Bless.

Ray is going to be dearly missed by everyone. I personally am going to miss him at his brother's house at superbowl parties and the like. He was just a joy to be around and he lightened the mood everywhere he went. He always had a smile on his face. God has a special place for angels like Ray Bailey, and he must have had a huge job for him in His majestic plans. Ray will always be remembered by the many hearts he touched with his grace and love. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Baileys in their time of sorrow. Just remember, we all will see Ray again soon.

I cant believe your gone Ray...I was just trippin' with you in Food Lion, betting on football and seeing who could dance better. Lol If it wasn't for my mom working with you I wouldn't have met a pure, kind spirit like yours. My condolences goes to each and everyone of your family members as well, as friends. I know your Resting In Paradise so your in good hands but damn why it had to be you...I'll never forget you, that smile or them dance moves Ray. Love you Ray!!!

Dear Bailey Family,

Although I did not know your son Ray, you have been in my thoughts and prayers since I learned of the accident. I understand your loss all to well, as my son (2 months younger than Ray) also earned his angel wings in a motorcycle accident in June of this year in Chesterfield. A parents worst nightmare. If there is any way I can help (even if you just need to talk - middle of the night)please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be continuing to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry. My sympathy goes out to his family and everyone that knew him. It's a shame I just saw him last week at Foodlion like I always do and he asked me how my day was. And I'd also run into him at Murphy's Law 2 dancing the night away. He was so nice, tall, and handsome. This just brings tears to my eyes because he was way to young. Rest in Piece Raymond!

To the Bailey Family,
I have known Ray since as far back as I can remember! We rode the same bus almost my entire school career, until he began to let me hitch a ride with him. I will never forget our driving lessons after practice in the parking lot at school, and our long indepth talks on the way home, our jammin sessions on the way to school, and always knowing I had someone I could talk to no matter what! He always cheered me up and put a smile on my face even on my worst days. Ill never forget when I found out I was pregnant and walking into Foodlion, the facial expression and reaction is and always will be permanantly in my brain. He's the sweetest and most loving guy I've ever met! I haven't seen him in a few years , seeing I moved away we lost touch, but my heart is still broken just the same for your family and the AMAZING person that has left us all. Love you Ray keep on smiling,I miss heariing your one of a kind laugh and the love and respect you had for your mother especially and family. You will be missed and loved by all. RIP my prayers and heart goes out to you Bailey family!! Ill be seeing you shortly Ray <3 <3 <3

I remember it like it was yesterday me and ray trading game boy games. He always had the cool games because my mom wouldnt let me have the over G rating games. I remember in elementry school when people used to pick on me and ray would come flying in and save the day! Saw ray while back at American Family and he came up and shook hands and was talking to me like it was like we never stopped talking. He was a really really great man and will be greatly missed. He could light up the room with just a smile, the way he danced, and the way he did what he wanted to do. He was the guy everyone knew could light you up and turn your day around with something funny.

It is such a shame to see such a young life taken so suddenly. My brothers and I have known Ray most of our lives since we lived in the same neighborhood and talked often. I ran into Ray not too long ago, once at Food Lion, and once at Murphy's. No matter how much time had passed, Ray still gave me a huge smile and asked how i was. We will all miss you ray. I'm glad i got to see you dance one last time.

Ray, from the moment I asked you what size shoe you wore, I had a feeling that I had to get to know you. Things in my life pushed us together and I got to know what a great person you were. I'm so blessed to know that I made you happy for the last couple of months. I will always miss those late nights and not knowing what the future held for us. I love you wonderful! Dear Bailey Family....
I will truly miss Ray, his laughter and hugs. Just one memory...One day while out with my daughter and sister, we ran into Ray at Wendy's. The 4 of us spent hours talking, laughing, and Ray trying to teach my sister to dance!! Yes, in Wendy's!! It's one of those memories we will have forever. And, of course the chats and hugs shared with Ray at Food Lion. Loved them!! You could always get a hug from Ray. Behind all of the laughter and crazyiness was Ray's other side...loving, caring, and gentle...who valued the importance and love of his friends and family. My heart goes out to all of you, you will be in my prayers.

My heart sincerely goes out to DJ and the Bailey family. I've only known Ray for 2 years from working at Food Lion and just off those 2 years, I could tell Ray was an amazing person and a great manager. We had many nights of closing the store and would just have a good time. It is so true that he loved his dancing because we would have many nights we would just trip out and dance in the middle of the aisles. You know he had to show me his moves :-) I'm seriously going to miss him. I already missed him from work when I transferred to a different store but it really hurts that I'm about to miss him in life. It's crazy to know that I have his # in my phone and I can never call him again, just to say hey or hear him talk mess cause I haven't talked to him in a while. Ray, I love you dude and I really will miss you. I definitely know you're an angel in heaven having everybody up there dancing with you :-) R.I.P. Ray Bailey
