Raymond V. Blum (85) of Attica died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Mercy Hospital of Willard. He was born January 15, 1929 in Attica to the late Frank and Bertha (Daniel) Blum. Mr. Blum was a farmer and blacksmith. He enjoyed hunting, rodeo's and won the Ohio Saddle Bronc Championship in 1960. Mr. Blum is survived 2 daughters: Ellen Blum of Attica and Susan Blum of Grove City, son: Charles "Chip" Blum of Attica. Granddaughter: Lesley Blum of Toledo. 2 brothers: Robert (Connie) Blum of Plymouth and Richard (Rita) Blum of Willard. Mr. Blum is survived 2 daughters: Ellen Blum of Attica and Susan Blum of Grove City, son: Charles "Chip" Blum of Attica. Granddaughter: Lesley Blum of Toledo. 2 brothers: Robert (Connie) Blum of Plymouth and Richard (Rita) Blum of Willard. He was preceded in death by his wife: Lynda (Jenney) Blum who preceded him in death in 1994, his parents, and sister: Mary Ann Fox.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Our Lady of Hope Church with Fr. Paul A. Fahrbach conducting the Mass. Burial will be in the Sts Peter and Paul Cemetery, Attica. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica with a Scriptural Vigil Service being held at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday. Memorial Contributions may be made Juvenile Diabetes through the funeral home.
