Greg I never met your dad, but I 've met you and I know an acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. I thank the Good Lord for your dad and all those that have served and will serve God and Country-friends and neighbors as both you and your dad have.-Take Care Dale

He was the sweetest, kindest gentle man. He always made us laugh when we'd get together at y'all's "country house". I know he was loved by so many. You have our prayers for your comfort during this time.

I remember he had a great sense of humor and liked to gently pull your leg in jest. I do not remember a single occasion where he passed up an opportunity to pull mine. He will be missed.

We are thanking our God for allowing Meme and Papa Burt to be a part of our lives. Papa always showed so much compassion and love to those around him. He will continue to be an example of a strong Christian man to us. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow. I know he's resting in our Father's arms, free from sickness and pain. God bless you! Love, Deryl and Betty Hunter (parents of Becca Reneau)
