Raymond L. Decker, 85, of Chula Vista, California, passed away February 17, 2013. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on April 02, 1927. Raymond L. Decker graduated from Washington High School in Bethal, Kansas. Raymond was married to Mira Maxine Bradwell Decker on June 25, 1947, 65 years of wedding bliss. Raymond at NASNI as a firefighter. He was also a Police Officer for the City of Coronado, California and Thayer Missouri. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 50 years and a Free Masonary of the 32 degree. Raymond was also a member of the Eastern Star and VFW of Imperial Beach.He was a member of the American Legion Post 820 Imperial Beach for 40 years. Raymond was a WWII Veteran who proudly served his country. He served as a senior volunteer in the City of San Diego, California and Republic for the Police Department, and also volunteered at the South Bay School District. Raymond is survived by his wife, Mira M. Decker, Children Linda K. Reed (Deceased), Sam & Marsha Camacho, Raymond and Bobbie Decker, William and Carleen Decker, Steven and Lisa Decker, Michael Decker, 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
