Raymond J. Koch, 81, of Austin passed away March 12, 2012 in Austin. He served as an MP in the 307th Company D Battalion of the United States Army. He later operated the family construction business with his sons for over 20 years. Upon his retirement, he started a new career at Westwood High School as the parking lot security guard for another 20 years. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Grace; 3 sons, David and his wife, Lynne, Dennis and his wife, Alice, and Darin and his wife, Dana; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening, on Friday, the 16th of March 2012, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
Funeral services will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 17th of March 2012, at Great Hills Baptist Church, 10500 Jollyville Road, Austin, Texas with Rev. Benny Knight and Rev. Ross Hartsfield officiating. Interment will follow in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery under the direction of Cook-Walden Funeral Home.
