Raymond "Ray" Cecil Lady, III, 38, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. He was born January 9, 1974 in Bloomington, Indiana the son of Sandra and Raymond Cecil Lady, Jr.
Ray enjoyed playing football and basketball with his sons, weight training, and spending time with his family and friends. He had the biggest heart and sweetest soul. He will be deeply missed.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Davona Ann Lady of Springfield, Missouri; his five sons, Raymond Cecil Lady, IV, Alex Lady, Joshua Lady, Jacob Lady , and Jeremiah Lady all of Springfield, MO; his parents, Sandra and Raymond Cecil Lady, Jr. of Bloomington, IN; three brothers, Robert Lady of Chicago, IL, Michael Lady of Indianapolis, IN, and Matthew Lady of Bloomington, IN; two grandmothers, Margie Lady and Shirley Arthur; father-in-law, Lynn Frederick Knese; and a mother-in-law, Brenda Brooks.
Ray was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Sandra Rayanne Lady; and his grandfather, Raymond Cecil Lady, Sr.
Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Day Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Duncan Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Day Funeral Home.
