I had the great good fortune to be Ray's last apprentice before he retired and have always deeply appreciated the mentoring I received from him. His air of quiet competence was a tremendous benefit to all the young apprentices he taught over the years. It has been more than 20 years since Ray retired from Edmonton Power/EPCOR and yet his legacy here lives on to this day. His commitment to safety and quality on the job has never been matched. To the family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great loss.

We were so sad to learn of Ray's passing. He was such a nice man and it was a privilege to have known him. His knowledge on how to repair things was amazing. Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to all the family.
