Raymond Sorenson, age 84, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 17, 2013.
He was a native Houstonian, growing up during the depression era. As a young man he was in the Army and was sent to Austria where he served as a military police officer. .After his military service he returned home in Houston when he married and had one child.
Raymond worked for Hughes Tool Company for several years, then worked for Harris County Flood Control for 25 years In addition, he built 2 car washes which he maintained & operated for 37 years. He had a very strong work ethic. He was a very quiet, reserved, dignified man.
Raymond was a Mason, member of Walter M Pierson Lodge No 1339 since 1968.
Raymond is survived by his wife Sue and daughter Shelley Reynolds .Funeral service will be held at Forest Park East on Wednesday, July 17th at 12:30 P.M.. Visitation at 11:30 A.M. prior to service.
Raymond was a most honorable and kind man. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
