Raymonde Marcelle Yohn, 79, passed away at home on Thursday, March 26, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was a native of Bar-sur-Aube, France and a resident of Hampton since 1961.
Raymonde was an active member of the Peninsula French Club for 47 years and volunteered at the Ft. Monroe Ceramic Shop for 20 years.
Raymonde was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Marie Antoinette Grivé. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Clarence; children, Lorna Aylor, David Yohn and wife, Sheryl and Daniel Yohn and wife, Pamela; seven special grandchildren, Jeff Yohn, Brian Yohn, Robbie Aylor, Kathryn Aylor, Christopher Yohn, Nicholas Yohn and Rachel Martin; and one special great-grandson, Camden.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Raymonde's life will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 31, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hampton-Veterans Memorial Gardens.
