Graveside service for Rebecca Ann McAbee, 59, of Decatur will be Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 2 p.m. Service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery with Bro. James "Jackie" Kay officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Ms. McAbee, who died Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 9:56 p.m. at Decatur General Hospital, was born December 6, 1952, in Gadsden to Robert Wayne McAbee and Lillie Mae Fox McAbee. She was preceded in death by her mother and much loved and only niece.
Ms. McAbee worked for K-Mart for a period of 23 years and excelled in the many positions she held.
She is survived by her father, Robert Wayne McAbee Sr. and stepmother, Patricia Lynne Sivley McAbee, both of Decatur; her brother, Robert Wayne McAbee Jr. of Las Vegas, Nev.; her aunts, Doris McAbee Frost of Gadsden and Catherine Sinkley of Birmingham; her uncle, Carl Fox of Gadsden and many cousins.
