Rena Andrews, 82, of Cape Girardeau, MO, formerly of New Madrid, MO, died March 22, 2012 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. Born April 16, 1929 in Mount Levi, AR, to the late George and Rhoda Lund Warren, she was a member of the New Madrid Church of Christ and the Order of the Eastern Star. On March 9, 1949, in Piggot, AR, she married William Earl Andrews, who preceded her in death on June 9, 2003.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cathy Andrews of Collierville, TN and Ron and Rose Andrews of Jackson, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Larry Frankum of Cape Girardeau; and two brothers, Clyde Warren of Marion, Indiana and Ray Warren of Wingo, KY. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Amanda Andrews of New Madrid, Nicholas Andrews of Jonesboro, AR, Jennifer White of Lilbourn, MO, Andrea Powell of New Madrid, Brad Andrews of Tulsa, OK, Bryan Andrews of Crystal City, MO, Brandon Andrews of Springfield, MO and Brandi Farrow of Jackson; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30am until time of the funeral service at 11:00am Monday, March 26, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Ed Thomason, minister of the New Madrid Church of Christ will officiate, assisted by Elder Don Brown.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be Larry Frankum, Brad Andrews, Nicholas Andrews, Brandon Andrews, Amanda Andrews and Bryan Andrews.
