Renva H. Alumbaugh "Sue" age 84 of Griffith, IN passed away August 14,2014, she is survived by two sons Johnnie Alumbaugh, Jerry (Rochele) Alumbaugh, three grandchildren Jason, Ashlee, Nathan, one great-grandson Jacob, many nieces and nephews, her buddy Max, preceded in death by her husband John. Funeral services will be held Monday August 18,2014, 10:00 am at Kuiper Funeral Home 9039 Kleinman Rd ( two blocks south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN Rev. Peter Irvine officiating, burial Calumet Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Sue worked at White Castle in Griffith for 30 years also worked at Ready Elementary School in Griffith, IN for over 15 years as a cook, she was a member of the Eastern Star, and she loved to travel, an avid White Sox fan, loved spending time with her family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Harbor Light Hospice or Northwest Indiana Humane Society
