Ret. TSgt Gilberto Barron born on April 18, 1942 in Prarie Lee, Texas went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2017. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 29 years, Hilda Barron; daughters, Lydia Barron Seel, Frances Barron Luna, Evelyn Barron Roemer, and Samantha Barron; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 9 siblings. Ret. Tsgt. Barron was a Vietnam veteran having enlisted in the USAF at the age of 17 and served our country for over 20 years. He will be remembered by his loving family and lifetime friends for his generosity and sense of humor.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 8:30a.m. for a committal service to be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:15 a.m.
