Mrs. Retha Calhoun Conaway, age 96, died Thursday at Community Hospice in Vidalia. She was a longtime resident of Toombs County. Mrs. Conaway was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Eugene Conaway and two sons Foy E. Conaway Jr. and Charles P. Conaway, A sister Mildred Powell.
Survivors include A sister Faye Anderson of Lyons, ; seven grandchildren, ; Eleven great grandchildren; and Nine great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Murchison Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:30 P.M. in the John Howell Dixon Chapel of Murchison Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery.
