Reuben Mehlhoff

Obituary

Reuben died peacefully in his sleep at home with his wife at his side. He was 94 years old.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maryann; daughters, Barbara Dawson, Judith Benton, Phyllis Eichler and Patricia Mauch; step-son, Jim Anderson; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Reuben was born at home on the family farm in Kidder County, North Dakota to parents Adam and Kathryn Mehlhoff.
Reuben came to Oregon in 1936. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, 1st Division during World War II, stationed in Okinawa. After the war he worked in the lumber industry until retirement.
Reuben enjoyed golfing, gardening, reading, as well as traveling
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, 3 sisters and daughter Deanna Ireland.
At his request, no services will be held. Interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery.
