Mary Ann Durso

He was my academic advisor at SLU and by listening to him and his advice, he majorly impacted and changed my career forever. He advised me to study abroad in China... he was so brilliant that he was ahead of the curve... it took others and the rest of the U.S. ten plus years to catch up with him and start going to China. I have been teaching Chinese to hundreds of students in Chicago for the past 5 years all because he advised me to study abroad in China some 15 years ago. He literally has transformed my entire career and I don't even have words to say how grateful I am that this man touched my life. I am sorry he is gone. Rest in peace. Mary Ann Durso
