Rex John Desgroseillier, 61, of Yakima passed away February 12, 2014 in Seattle, Washington, He was born June 26, 1952 in Yakima, Washington. Rex grew up in Yakima and graduated from Carroll High School. He attended the University of Washington where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Rex went on to work at AT&T and 36 years later retired from Century Link. Rex married Patricia Beczo on April 5, 1975 in Seattle and they had his daughter, Elizabeth in 1981. Rex John Desgroseillier, 61, of Yakima passed away February 12, 2014 in Seattle, Washington,
He was born June 26, 1952 in Yakima, Washington. Rex grew up in Yakima and graduated from Carroll High School. He attended the University of Washington where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Rex went on to work at AT&T and 36 years later retired from Century Link. Rex married Patricia Beczo on April 5, 1975 in Seattle and they had his daughter, Elizabeth in 1981. He remarried on April 18, 1987 in Reno to Mary Lou Foro.
In Rex's last few years of life, he returned home to Yakima where he resided with his brother Marc and sister-in-law, Cindy. Rex cherished his time with family, especially the time he spent with his daughter, Elizabeth. Rex was a very generous person who donated a lot of his time to various organizations and charities. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Yakima Council 894.

Rex is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Desgroseillier of Yakima; his brothers and sisters, Jean (Theron) Hunter of Shoreline, WA, Marc (Cindy) Desgroseiller, Joan (Scott) Eschbach of Yakima, Brad Desgroseillier of Selah and Sue (Steve) Deatherage of Beaverton, OR; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Loy Foro-Desgroseillier on March 24, 2010, his mother, Mary Desgroseillier on May 3, 2006 and his father, Ralph Desrogseillier on April 22, 2011.

Visitation will be held at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home on Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Vigil service will be held at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Concluding services and burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church would be appreciated. The family would like to thank Rex's doctors and staff in Yakima and in Seattle for the great care they provided in his final days.
