Reynold Ball Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 18, 2012.

Reynold George Ball, 67, of Idaho Falls ID, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home on Friday, January 13, 2012. Reynold was born in Blackfoot ID, on Sunday, July 9th, 1944 to Raymond and Clara Ball. He was raised in Rigby ID, where he attended school. After graduating high school, he continued his education at Ricks Collage in Rexburg, ID where he got a degree in mechanical drafting.
Reynold was employed with several different drafting companies like the INEEL in Idaho Falls and Morrison Knudsen in Boise, where he worked and designed many different projects for NASA space center and other Government and Nuclear Projects.
Reynold married Bonnie Carol Ball of Rexburg, ID in 1964, at the Idaho Falls Temple while married; they had two boys David and Steven.

Reynold had many different interests from Flying airplanes, kayaking, fishing, camping, and his love for Photography. But people who loved Reynold will always remember him by the artist that he was, not just the things he could draw and paint, but the things he could build from scratch with just an idea in his head. Reynold truly was a Master Craftsman and had a God given gift of working with his hands.

Reynold was also a bit of a class clown. He loved his family, one and all, very much and loved to make them smile and laugh. He was always asked to do things over and over because it was so funny. Reynold will be missed!

He is survived by two sons, Reynold David Ball of Coeur d'Alene, and Steven Ray Ball of Idaho Falls, Richard Lyman Ball (brother) Glendale, AZ- Colene Ball-Browning (sister) Menan- Gordon Clair Ball (brother) Lewisville, Jonell Marotz (sister) Nampa, Franklin Dean Ball (grandson) Idaho Falls, Zackari Nelson Ball (grandson) Idaho Falls, ID- Kirsi Diette Ball (granddaughter) Idaho Falls, ID- Bonnie Carol Ball (wife) Idaho Falls, ID
He was procceded in death by his oldest sister, Raelene Ball Merrill.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls, with Bishop Scott Davis officiating. A Viewing for family and friends will be held an hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday.
