Rhonda Beth Schroeder, the second daughter of Walter A. and Ruth (Mueller) Schroeder, was born on August 8, 1954 in Pasadena, California. She graduated from Alhambra First Lutheran School and later San Gabriel High School (Class of 1972). In the top 10 of her graduating class, she earned the Presidential Physical Fitness award, was a member of the California Scholarship Federation, and was on the drill team her junior year. Rhonda was a talented pianist. As a result of a congenital arrhythmia, Rhonda had a cardiac arrest at the end of her first month in college. She suffered serious disabilities for the rest of her life. Nevertheless, her good humor and strong faith in God were an inspiration to her friends. She is survived by her sister Glenna Schroeder-Lein (husband Lonnie Lein) of Springfield, Illinois, nine cousins, and many care-givers and friends.
