Retired T Sgt. Ricardo F. Campa, born December 15, 1934 in Converse, TX; passed away on November 20, 2013 with his family by his side. Preceded in death by his brother Felipe Campa and nephew Ernest Muniz Jr., he will be greatly missed. Ricardo is survived by his wife of 52 years Elva, son's Richard (Beverly); Philip, daughters Antonia, Diana (Ricardo), Grandchildren Richie and Ethan, sister Zulema (Ernest) Muniz, cousin's Rebecca (Rudy) Ledesma; Juan (Lupe) Campa as well as numerous relatives and friends. Ricardo was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. The Campa family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Vitas Hospice for the comfort and care that they provided. Visitation will held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on Tuesday November 26 beginning at 5 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7PM. A precession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday November 27 at 8:30AM to San Fernando Cathedral for Mass to begin at 9AM, followed by burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
