Biography

Ricardo “Richard” Gonzalez, Sr., a loving husband, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2011. He was 64 years old. Richard was employed by Pepsi Bottling Co. for 40 years and retired in 2007. He enjoyed gambling, fishing, lotto scratching, watching sports and enjoyed his trips to Las Vegas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Epifano and Elida Gonzalez; three brothers, Epifano, Baldemar and Bernave Gonzalez; one sister, Amelia G. Tanguma and one niece, Melinda H. Garcia. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Guadalupe Gonzalez; mother-in-law, Aurora Castillo; one daughter, Rosario (Adam) Ramirez, seven sons, Richard, Jr. (Rosie), Rolando (Maria), Rene (Janie), Rogelio (Maria), Rodolfo (Valerie), Raynaldo (Lisa), Robert; three brothers, Jose (Rosario), Albert (Betty), Efrain Gonzalez; one brother-in-law, Amando Tanguma and one sister, Esmeralda (Joe) Hastings. Richard is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Jude Arriguzo, Dr. Islam, Dr. Damaraju, Dr. Pacheco, Dr. Garcia, Dubuis Hospital staff, Spohn Pavilion Staff and CCU. The family will be receiving friends at Funeraria del Angel Memorial Holly on Tuesday, March 22, 2010 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Memory...
