Richard (Dick) David Crosley, U.S. Naval Officer, Vietnam veteran, writer, and world-traveler, passed away September 14, 2013. Dick was born in 1937 on Christmas Day to L.W. and Helen Crosley, and attended Northeast High School. He joined the Navy at 17, served for sixteen years, and achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander. After his naval career, he taught high school in Stillwater, OK. Dick also worked for Channel 4 in Oklahoma City as a camera operator and producer. He later became a television producer and technical writer for railroad and petroleum corporations, producing countless educational training videos on topics...
Richard (Dick) David Crosley, U.S. Naval Officer, Vietnam veteran, writer, and world-traveler, passed away September 14, 2013. Dick was born in 1937 on Christmas Day to L.W. and Helen Crosley, and attended Northeast High School. He joined the Navy at 17, served for sixteen years, and achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander. After his naval career, he taught high school in Stillwater, OK. He later became a television producer and technical writer for railroad and petroleum corporations, producing countless educational training videos on topics specific to their industry.

Dick had a great sense of humor, was kind to animals, enjoyed eating out, and spending time with friends. His ability to sit down and have a conversation with almost anyone served him well during his time in the Navy and throughout the rest of his life.

He is survived by his son, Martin David Crosley, his brother, Harold Crosley Sr. and wife Aileen; niece Deborah Holland and husband Michael, niece Jeannie Fox and husband, Ray, children Ray Andrew and Laura; nephew Harold Crosley; his sister, Sue Evans; nephew Mark Evans and wife, Kathy, children Zach and Rachel; niece Trace Robinson and husband, Gerry, children Elizabeth and Reese; niece Wendy Brooks and husband Greg, children Stephen and Evan, and nephew Mitchel Evans, wife Brenda, and son, Duncan.

His parents, brother-in law Ron Evans, and great nephew Nicholas Holland preceded him in death.

Memorial Service will be 10:00am, Monday, September 23 at Baggerley Funeral Home.
