ALEXANDER Richard W. Alexander, age 92, passed away Saturday morning, July 7, 2012. A native of Newark, Ohio and a resident of Marrero, La. for 44 years. He was a retired employee of Union Carbide Corporation, serving for 33 years. U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary Kay Alexander; son, Richard W. Alexander, Jr. (Connie) of Morehead City, North Carolina; daughter, Judith K. Meyn of Groveton, Texas; granndchildren: Richard W. Alexander III and Marianne Meyn; three great-grand-children: Alexis, Shawn, and Kailah; and one brother, Fred Alexander of Huntington, West Virginia. Family and friends are invited to...

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 5101 West-bank Expressway, on Tuesday morning, July 10, 2012 at 11:00. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 7:00 until 9:00, and again on Tuesday from 10:00 until service time. Interment to follow services at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
